People will be amazed at what they can get used to when they have a goal to reach. For me, I can keep the heat down low, block off rooms, turn the lights out when I leave a room or just not use them at all, etc. because my goal is to get out of debt. Unfortunately, my wife does not have as strong of a resolve as I about the debt thing so she isn't as hardcore about frugality. She's not wasteful by "society's standards", but she is by my standards. We often have to compromise. Thanks for the link.
