		<description>The route the GPS decides on my very well depend on the setup. If you have it set for fastest route as opposed to shortest distance, you might see a result like the one you experienced.

As for the accuracy, it might be about 100 feet with WAAS turned off but would be within about 10 with it on.  This might solve your problem.</description>

		<description>Yeah, that was just an example -- not the actual route taken.  I&#039;d initially started to take the route the Garmin suggested before realizing it was asking me to make difficult lefts repeatedly.

I don&#039;t recall which street I was on when I began to ignore the directions coming from the device. 

Gerrard, maybe?  

Whichever street I took due west before turning right (legally) on to Yonge, well, it was more efficient than the route originally plotted...</description>

		<description>I am from Toronto and I&#039;m sure the route the 260 gave you was partly due to the fact you are not allowed to turn on to Yonge St from Dundas. You can&#039;t turn on to Yonge St from a few of the major streets in the area because foot traffic is so high there.</description>
