Yeah, I&#039;m aware of that and totally understand it from their perspective.

I&#039;m not really worried about a drive-by -- it&#039;s the invasive hammer wielding inspectors that make me uneasy.

My house, after all of the work we&#039;ve had done, definitely has curb appeal, so hopefully it&#039;s as simple as that -- a quick drive and maybe a photo.

I almost wish they&#039;d send a letter after the fact to confirm that they&#039;ve done their inspection.  

For this sort of thing, I find the &quot;no news is goods news&quot; very unsettling...</description>

		<description>I just thought I would let you know it is routine for insurance carriers to do &#039;drive bys&#039; and verify that the house is lived in and still standing.  This is to protect themselves.  I&#039;m guessing with many folks feeling the financial crunch they will be doing more of these checks.</description>
